Dr.’s Orders: Floral Trends this Season

Lilies, Daisies, Hydrangea’s oh my! Choosing flowers for your wedding may seem overwhelming, but Bryna from Dr. Delphinium, a highly sought after florist in DFW, offered her advice on what’s trending this season. The number one change Bryna has seen this year are in roses. Many brides are now choosing Garden Roses instead of roses from rose bushes. They are a fuller flower with many layers of pedals, and come in all colors so they are easy to work into a color scheme.

A twist on a classic is the Fringed Tulip, this flower is open with lovely fringes just on the border of the pedal. See below for a picture of this uniquely lovely flower!

And lastly, Bryna has noticed that Pinterest, an online inspiration, picture board website, has been a huge influence for flower choices. Astible has been growing like crazy on boards, no pun intended! :)  Astible has a simplistic look, but brightens and styles the room. You may have seen or even pinned this gorgeous flower yourself and noticed the variety of colors that are available.
