Meet Our New Wedding Intern – Jacki!

We are super excited to announce the arrival of our new summer intern Jacki! Jacki comes to us all the way from Pennsylvania, where she is attending Pennsylvania State University! We wanted to share with you more about her background and what she is looking forward to in her new adventure in Texas! She will be with us at our events so feel free to say “hi” and introduce yourself to her!

Q&A With Our New Intern – Jacki

1. What university do you attend?   
    Pennsylvania State University

2. What are you studying?
    Recreation, Park, and Tourism Management

3.  When will you graduate?
    August 2012

4. How did you get involved with meeting and event planning?
    I got involved with meeting and event planning through my major at Penn State.  I was put in charge of planning a community event with 10 classmates. I really enjoyed working along side my classmates and being on the logistics committee for my event. I also have always loved planning fun events and parties for my family.

5. Where do you see yourself 15 years from now?
    I see myself running my own meeting and event company back in my hometown in Pennsylvania.

6. Why did you come to intern with Eddie Deen and Company Catering?
    I always have had a passion for meeting and event planning and it seemed like a great opportunity!

 
7. What are your interests?
    I love playing the piano and reading.  I also enjoy exploring Dallas and going out with my friends.

8. What do you like most about Texas?
    I love the food!  Its super creative and very tasty!

9. What do you dislike about Texas?
    The roads!  They are very confusing and very different compared to the road in Pennsylvania!

10.  What is one thing you would like to do in Texas before you leave?
    Ride a mechanical bull!
